Dramatic Little Bookworms is a storybook driven drama class, which aspires to create confident and articulate storytellers and performers.
Each week our Dramatic Little Bookworms will participate in a vocal and physical warm up in order to gain focus and concentration.
Our Dramatic Little Bookworms will then be presented with a stimulus (word, image, sound or object) to interpret. This will allow the opportunity to develop their imagination, creativity, ideas and deepen their understanding of the chosen storybook, through exploring: themes, characters, situations, social messages, meaning and alternative outcomes through Drama techniques (role play, improvisation, hot seating, freeze frames and storytelling).
On the last week our Dramatic Little Bookworms will perform the chosen storybook in front of a small audience.

“The sessions are interactive, educational and lots and lots of fun! Noah has been able to improve on his phonics, learn some sign language and his confidence has come on leaps and bounds. Kirsty has been absolutely amazing in bringing out the best in the children and has really encouraged Noah’s love of books and reading by helping him and his Bookworm friends to bring the stories to life themselves!” Parent
